About Tipasheena Ragdolls

Hello, our names are Jo-Anne and Russell and we are privileged to own a small cattery in our home, on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland.

Our passion for cats began in 1992, when we adopted a moggy kitten named Tipasheena, we showered her with love until she sadly passed away at the age of 21 and our hearts were broken. Although we were utterly devastated we knew we wanted to add another furry family member to our home, so began researching cat breeds, attending cat shows and speaking to wonderful breeders who shared their knowledge with us. We soon fell completely, head over heels in love the precious Ragdoll and were incredibly lucky to be entrusted with our gorgeous girl, Kelanrowe Sweet Charity (Isabella), who has filled our lives with joy and has done us so very proud on the show bench.

Our darling babies are all raised in our home (without ANY cages), in their own nursery, and are involved in our daily lives from the moment they are born. This includes being a part of all our activities (vacumming, mopping, different people etc), interacting with our dogs and being showered with love by our grandchildren. We believe this start in life is extremely important, preparing our babies to be well socialised, well adjusted, confident kittens, with a TRUE Ragdoll temperament allowing a smooth transition into their forever homes. We offer our constant support and guidance throughout your journey with our beautiful babies.

To ensure the health and safety of our cats and kittens we are a closed cattery. We encourage and welcome visits to our home to meet our babies, and dearly love sharing pictures of our kittens as they grow and develop throughout their early life.
